and wth the chords are simple it's the picking pattern that is the most challenging part of it what was blud waffling about

(I'm the guitar player in question) tbh my music theory knowledge is pretty basic for the most part but playing so long + piano kinda helped me a bit more in that regard.

instead of just playing the chords in blocks or arpeggiating it simply you take the bottom note of the chord and then play the rest of the notes in some order. Like here the left hand does it the radiohead song just uses some extra passing tones
