If you have 1 Diamond, there are 12 left, if an Ace round passes, there are 8 left. The chances of your partner only have 1 of the 7 left and it being the K and you having to cut ahead of them is like 1% or less.

If you don’t play with bags then counting everything doesn’t really matter at all

i will rarely count a cut book, it literally depends on the situation we're in

i am more concerned about making sure the other team doesn't get their books or goes over.. i will always find ways to throw off and if not.. i will take the bag

if we need an extra book to win and it's a close game you can bet your candy ass i'm counting cut books and queens and all that jazz
