    i dont have a strong read on whether kush is well liked or not. i personally like it but i didnt think it was liked enough to be a good play

    for example at the end i played let me ride. i would think let me ride (which isnt a great play but its decent) would be stronger than kush, despite the fact that kush is modern-ish

    They both had 2 different interpretations of the Vz

    OP chose to look at Ye as an overall artist

    Prez wanted it to be a continuation of the producer Vz and focus mostly on the production aspect

    I think kush is a better play than let me ride w ktt audience

    tho i think let me ride is definitely the better song

    i dont know where the confusion came from exactly. he acted like i said it was anything goes. and i sort of remember that exchange but i thought he asked me if i wanted to do no solo album cuts (so i couldnt play any dre album songs and he couldnt play any ye album songs) and i was like nah anything goes.

    but it was always a producer vz
