This album was quickly made after the success of Piano Man in 1973 and as such, has a bit of a rushed quality to it. While it still has some great songs, Billy was struggling to write songs and ended up putting 2 instrumentals on here because of it. Overall serves as a bridge between his earlier work and the greatness that would become his work beyond.
