Everytime a new song popped up I was imagining other artists on this killing it way better.
I even felt like playing Igor at some point.
Not to mention it sounded like he was mumbling throughout most of the project.
Add that to the heavy auto tune use and Travis Scott effect. I legit had no idea what he was saying.Most of the songs would've been amazing if his vocals were more raw and less padded with effects.
I don't wanna have to pull up lyrics to know what your saying.
Production was amazing.
Lyrics were okay.Good creative effort done by Yachty that failed to realize it's maximum potential.
But at least he's doing diff things unlike the majority of artist nowadays.
Yeah, as I’ve said before, remove Yachty completely from the album and it’s good. An artist with actual range/vocal talent would have done the production justice. Yachty just don’t got it like that and that’s ok.
Good on him for doing something different but at the end of the day he just added terrible vocals to other people’s effort.

yachty album is okay
sucks he’s made great music before that never really got the hype this did, but i do understand that radical left turns always draw a lot of attention, but that’s not really his fault
i do feel like a lot of it is just a honeymoon phase that is already growing off me, but artistic risks are always cool and i do think its cool that so many people like it as much as they do, could also potentially inspire people to get into that music further
i had a similar experience with SBTH and went into a huge grunge phase
