yachty album is okay

sucks he’s made great music before that never really got the hype this did, but i do understand that radical left turns always draw a lot of attention, but that’s not really his fault

i do feel like a lot of it is just a honeymoon phase that is already growing off me, but artistic risks are always cool and i do think its cool that so many people like it as much as they do, could also potentially inspire people to get into that music further

i had a similar experience with SBTH and went into a huge grunge phase

i went in2 it expecting 2 absolutely hate it, 1st song completely threw me off cuz i just wasn't expecting it

but i let it ride out & i found a lot of great things about it, mainly the production & song structures

it's just a fun album 2 vibe 2, niggas treating it like it's a kendrick album or some s***

running out of time is seriously amazing, i'm just proud of yachty 4 being brave enough 2 try something new & even people are killing him cuz of his comments about not wanting 2 be known as a meme rapper now.. very polarizing album

just don't take it so seriously & stop being hypercritical & enjoy the music

whether that be his fault or his voice or whatever, nobody takes him seriously

this is a step in the right direction, i can only see him getting better from this experience
