Godfather is great as a story about the American dream and the rise and fall of a family in it. Yup
most people naturally go into those movies expecting some mafia s*** and then are bored crapless once they figure out it's more about the family dynamics of the corleones and an immigrant family's rise to the top/chasing the american dream
SWEAR TO ME
His fat ass lips in the mask
I have the balls to say Pattinson is better
Idc about looks.. just writing
Yup
SWEAR TO ME
Forgot this part
bale batman voice is iconic
TDKR scene where that one chick dies
Comically terrible
the fact THAT was the best take they got? scary
movie was always scuffed the moment they said bane was the main villain
can't ever do a comic accurate bane in a movie so no point to ever waste time using him
Pattinson was phoning it in acting wise compared to his artsy s*** but the writing was prob the best Batman writing on screen so far
Give me Mr Freeze next PatBat, you cowards
More like give me one with scarecrow being the main villain
Awful is a stretch but in general they’re kinda meh Batman movies and they left an annoying legacy on him and superhero movies in general
Maybe not in general but definitely on DC
They tried to apply the dark brooding formula to an entire universe and it fell so flat

TGPII
Is great boring movie. It’s soooo long. It’s great the character arcs are great and everything but f*** it’s slow lmao

last act of that movie is such a fumble and kinda ruined the entire thing for me
bale batman voice is iconic
It’s so dumb lmao it’s iconic as a meme
More like give me one with scarecrow being the main villain
Boring main villain. You would basically just rehash BBegins or Arkham Knight

yup
Niggas gonna name 90s-2000s batmans as being better
Keaton will always have a special place for me
Some people find his Bruce Wayne to be kind of bland…but he has certain nuances in his performance that are really noble if you watch closely.
And his Batman will always be super cool to me. The most menacing.
Kilmer and Clooney though lmaooo
It’s so dumb lmao it’s iconic as a meme
“You Either Die A Hero Or Live Long Enough To See Yourself Become The Villain.”
last act of that movie is such a fumble and kinda ruined the entire thing for me
Doesn’t change the writing of Batman’s character. The riddler stuff was dumb but in general I really liked the movie. Last act is weaker but semi necessary?
The scene with him at the end just saving people and girl doesn’t wanna let him go after he spent the whole movie scaring people he was trying to save
Actual cinema
does it “insist upon itself” as Peter Griffin would say?
not really but the fans of it do
if u watch it just as a movie or even a family drama/succession type thing it's really really good, if u watch it as a mob movie it's boring and confusing
the movie works just as a movie
i feel like a lot of the reason i find it kind've boring (acting is goated across the board tho) iis everything that came after it just took the good parts and made them even better, if i watched it in 1972 or whatever the year was i'd prolly like it way more
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was getting so much hype back then
He’s still goated
500 days of summer
10 things I hate about you
Maybe not in general but definitely on DC
They tried to apply the dark brooding formula to an entire universe and it fell so flat
Every single good superhero movie gets compared to TDK or called TDK of whatever universe or character
It left a long ass legacy that we still feel bro

Him becoming a symbol for the people and guiding them through the darkness .. instead of being “vengeance”

I liked Looper a lot tbh
John Robin Blake was f***ing stupid tho
