OP is trying to take out all these factors, so i guess in the way he framed the question, i am in the wrong.
but putting aside his parameters:
if you were to say 2024 and 2025 didnt reveal anything new about kendrick, i would technically agree in the sense that his skills were already well known and he didnt improve his skills. he did however show us something that was new and boosted him because i care about that stuff, the ability to captivate the nation and place your personal stamp on the worldYeah, I wont argue with you there
I’m just saying if we’re strictly talking about the guy as a writer and deliverer of rap verses, you generally already know what they have to offer.

i dont think kendrick will ever pass eminem for me personally as i'm a huge Em stan.
i love kendrick too tho and in the wake of his incredible recent surge due to the drake beef, i'm not mad at anyone who puts him over Em on the goat list. i think kendrick has reached that level where he's in the mix with the top 10 greatest MCs and personal placement will justifiably vary
