I find it offensive that childish gamblino couldn’t even get not skinny fat for his this is America video
Can someone explain to me why this is offensive, literally not seeing it lmfao

very simple explanation for this
1. he did something interesting on live tv + social which went viral and got ppl talking. there are millions of ppl on the internet so ppl's comments about it vary greatly.
2. u are now saying that ppl are calling it offensive, thereby b******izing the viral topic to make the other side of the spectrum seem like they are overreacting to the viral moment

Well the thread title is clearly racist POS and most of the entire thread I linked seems to find his actions “offensive”.
But when you watch the video, he literally waves to the crowd, hugs the host? and then just walks off stage normally. So it’s confusing.

I just don’t see what was that different about what he did that required any kind of attention in the first place

if it was just the walking off, it may not have been a thing. it was the combo of the clip and the social post

What’s wrong with the social post? He’s flying home. Most people enjoy getting home after a work trip.

Idk I don't watch SNL because it's crap
But don't they normally stick around on stage and celebrate a bit?
He hugged one person then dipped and tweeted out talking about how happy he was to leave

Idk, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to not hug the entire cast if you don’t want to. I don’t think that should be considered inflammatory. And to me, his plane post was just him posting his plane and saying “on my way home” which is a pretty common thing many people do. You have to make a lot of assumptions to view the situation as “offensive”

Nothing slick about it. I just can’t fathom why anyone would find this situation interesting enough to feel upset about it at all.
Like it’s not like he Irish exited, or flipped everyone off and stormed off. He very politely waved and hugged one person before leaving.

I don't think it was offensive at all to be clear but I think it seemed like he wasn't exactly fond of the experience

idk if this is why ur bringing this up.... but i saw a moderately viral tweet that was like "ppl really thought this was art" referring to this video.
i am not one to fall for engagement bait but in this case i had to call him regarded in the comments

back to @Extraterrestrial 's question of why ppl care.
i think offensive isnt the word but this is another tick in the column of morgan wallen being an immature baby man-child.
imagine u are a country singer who is very clearly going for pop-country stardom by doing a ton of pop songs and succeeding at becoming very popular with mass commercial appeal.
u decide to do this national tv gig, which is super well defined bc it has existed in essentially the same format for 50 years. its a stop on a promo run for a ton of popular artists. u sign up for this cuz it will help your album run.
then u complain about it after like yuck get me out of here.
this reveals him to be a big immature baby of a man who is complaining about doing something of his own accord which he chose to do to help his profitability.
the only thing i'm not sure about is whether the private plane piece was meant to be tongue in cheek. i would say yes. i think this whole thing was designed by his marketing team tbh. the private plane inclusion was meant to spark online engagements by being intentionally annoying

I think it’s a sensationalist interpretation of a quite generic post, personally. Every celebrity ever has posted a variation of “Finally home in LA!” or whatever without people assuming the post was shade at wherever they flew in from.
