I would say that the government bailing out banks is about 200x more evil than this tariff move so far.

These tariffs will be gone as quickly as they came. First you will see “tariff negotiations” stimulating the market up. Then, the Trump administration will lift the tariffs and declare victory, stating that the other countries have agreed to the terms that generated the tariffs in the first place. The market will bounce back massively. Nothing will have changed but the rich will be richer.
