a hub lets u run them all at the same time?kinda correct abt some of it
modem is what receives internet from your isp
that signal is then brought to your router that assigns IP addresses to your network devices
the switch is what directs traffic within the network
a hub is sorta an outdated, less intelligent version of a switch where every port is mirrored so all devices are sent the same info and sorta congests network traffic

I have my ONT running into a router running into CAT cables throughout the house on every floor with switches attached to each running to devices. Fully wired baby. F*** WiFi
