It might but the entire ecosystem has to be unifi or it’s trash. My unifi gateway I bought to replace a switch was trash but I hear the full ecosystem makes it work much better

There is zero reason to not have a switch instead.

The whole point of UniFi is when you have the central hub and then various gateways, it does a really good job of data allocation and delivery. I don’t think a single UniFi point really does anything different than any other thing
