If you live in an apartment you should definitely be hard wired to your s*** , particularly any computer as well as tv
My dad said one would be enough for my apartment and that I dont need anymore than that
What is the UniFi point going to connect to? One will be enough to have WiFi in your apartment but it still needs to be connected to something providing internet like a router
been studying my booty off but et AND fbg got the most networking knowledge here.. damn!!

I'm gonna be wiring it to the router
@Extraterrestrial
You into screens and tv's too?
Yeah I have a 100 inch Hisense U8K as my main tv and it’s absolutely fire for the price I got it for

Where is the router? Far from the unifi point?

I have a technical room where the router is

I have the Alienware oled curved 34 240hz but I will never buy an Alienware monitor again. S*** has the most annoying bug ever where I have to unplug and plug back in the monitor whenever I use it

Ah I feel you, you’re honestly better off wiring a switch instead of the unifi point. You can then wire a gateway to the switch if you really need WiFi for your phone.
I have all my work apps on my personal cell phone. And even tho I use a VPN and private browsing for p***, I fear they know

Wtf... That's annoying. It's always been like that?
I've been looking at a OLED pc screen, but s***s expensive as f***. I want to spend 4500 dollars on a new pc and OLED screen, but I'm hesistant, because I'm hoping the OLED screen will go down in price in a few years

For a 27 it won’t be that expensive. Unless you’re looking for something super top of the line, you could easily get a 240hz for 250-300

Do MacBooks not have Ethernet ports?

this one doesnt, and it would be annoying walking around wiring it all the time

4k 240hz OLED for 300? Where the f*** you finding that

Oh that sucks. I dunno if you’ll get 1000/1000 from the unifi gate, it’s still WiFi. It’ll definitely be better than your current router situation though if I’m understanding it correctly

Ah yeah I forgot you wanted specifically oled. 240hz is definitely doable at that price though
