the Max doc is worth watching BUT....

a) it's essentially made by the defense so it isn't impartial at all. it is Karen's side of the story
b) it's half doc, half Karen Read reality show

overall it's an intriguing case because either it's a master class in defending a guilty person and riling up support of the guilty person, or it's a big conspiracy by the police to frame her. opinions are split.

She backed into him even if only enough for him to fall and hit his head and not damage the car too much, probably by accident

Called him numerous times to see if he was okay

Woke up in a panic thinking he was dead, took people to the scene of the crime and directly to his corpse, said multiple times "I hit him" or "what if I hit him"

And people feel like a massive cop corruption murder cover up story is more likely for some reason idk it sounds fictional. I think the cops probably were just bad at their job, and then didn't want to look into the possibility of it being another cop even if it wasn't (that doesn't prove guilt)
