She was wasted

She backed into him even if only enough for him to fall and hit his head and not damage the car too much, probably by accident

Pieces of taillight were found on the corpse

She panicked and left because she was extremely drunk

Called him numerous times to see if he was okay

Woke up in a panic thinking he was dead, took people to the scene of the crime and directly to his corpse, said multiple times "I hit him" or "what if I hit him"

And people feel like a massive cop corruption murder cover up story is more likely for some reason idk it sounds fictional. I think the cops probably were just bad at their job, and then didn't want to look into the possibility of it being another cop even if it wasn't (that doesn't prove guilt)

Good take. The only thing I will alter which is even more damning for her is that if you are right, then I don’t think it was an accident.

They said she was driving in reverse at over 20mph. That is very fast to go in reverse.

I don’t see this as an accident. They were having a fight and she sped up in reverse to hit him because she is crazy.

I mean maybe she really hit the gas hard and didn’t realize she was in reverse but I feel u would stop before reaching 20 MPH.

Granted if your drunk maybe it was a mistake but I see it as more intentional IF that is what happened

She was still drunk hours and hours later

Drunk people behind the wheel will do crazy things especially if she was already distracted by being upset (they had a toxic relationship)

I think the defense did a great job proving reasonable doubt and it was correct not to call her guilty. And she did a great job herself. I think it was the very same morning, before knowing he was fully dead, where she backed into one of her other cars on video in her driveway to explain her broken tail light.

Having the foresight to do that (whilst still drunk?) was very smart of her. The tail light wasn’t in the video until she pulled around so if she did that as a cover up it was pretty brilliant.

(Part of me still feels she is innocent)
