Family Matters may be your favorite (personally I prefer Push Ups and think it’s overrated) but it wasn’t enough to win the battle. Kendrick’s whole angle was figuring that Drakes ego would work against him like “Oh this track is so good, this will show him!”. If Drake really was as calculated as believe, he would’ve built up an arsonal of different types of songs as Kenny did and focused on bombing him instead of putting his eggs in 1 basket.

Yes I expected to see racial hate from the vampires as the film progressed but none transpired

What was the argument
It was about the music scene where like it looks like people from different decades are there.
My argument was that it was symbolic to show the immortal power of self expression through art to contrast the like immortality of vampires. Like a yin and yang of how a powerful force seen as evil is drawn to a powerful force seen as righteous and how they coexist
His argument was that there was no symbolism in the movie and that I was overthinking it and that it was essentially time travel
