WESLEYS THEORYOn my social media, I have both left and right leaning people
Out of all the people I’ve seen on Facebook and Instagram, I’d say 3-4 were leaning “radical left”, the majority was indifferent overall while not supporting his assassination and then around 5-6 were MAGA mourning him like he was some great person.
Unfortunately all the left leaning people I know

But they are pretty radical

Your job was to spew propaganda that boarded on hate speech and was based on riling people up and trying to recruit more people to think like you at colleges funneling them into your propaganda program
I can understand why it’s a lil gross to some and even I was pretty surprised by how gleeful it was but I can’t say I don’t understand them either. This what a violent country and culture leads to. Complete desensitization.

I can’t say it’s not understandable. I’m not saying I agree with it but i understand it. He would have held no empathy or water for anyone else in this scenario had he not been the one it affected.

I not responding to anyone in particular ik you both mean well and just having a discussion I just think it’s a silly comparison.
There are actual left politicians who have been attacked or killed and I’m sure it’d be easier to find evidence on reddit of people celebrating it.
You can find some people doing anything. It wasn’t just some people this time. Or if you want me to rephrase it, the magnitude of the people celebrating was more than I’ve ever seen before in any of these other situations we’re discussing

Wouldn’t fix the problem. The base problem is stupidity and a lack of education, meaningful social organizations/ fellowship and a fear of your neighbor.
Could delete social media today but as along as the government keeps spewing propaganda nothing would change. I.e. Nazi Germany
