You should progressively overload when your body has adapted to the current stimulus and you've been consistently performing the exercise with proper form for at least a few weeks
how do my fellow gym bros go about progressive overload
I hurt my elbow so be cautious with getting too excited

I haven’t done em in like 4 years

how do my fellow gym bros go about progressive overload
There is a lot into it but basically
Try to always shoot 4 more every session (keeping good form) even if its one rep, that means u getting stronger
Its important that u get good rest so that u can do accurate tracking. Like u sleep 8 hours and do x but next week sleep 3 hours and do y instead of x+1

adding 2.5-5 lbs (1-2.5kg) for upper body lifts or 5-10 lbs (2.5-5kg) for lower body lifts

@nort i know u trained before but u still in ur early arc of u returning so thankfully u dont need to put a lot of thought into it yet
The longer u keep grinding the toughter it gets to progress and have to look at smaller details to see if u are progressing but thats also the beautiful part!

With all due respect to myself and also this thread, I've seen far bigger d***s, performing better, ejaculating in a way juicier manner, but they didn't quite happen to be of European origin, so I reckon I'm safe.

What range of reps do u usually take ur exercises too?
Like i imagine u going failure/near failure. But are u going at it with like 8 reps, 12 reps, 15... and then improving?

Don‘t worry about it
Depends on the exercise tho some need time for the body to accostume to thw weight to it like the basics even if u could lift it, to not risk injury
