greatest hits comps are truly a lost art in the streaming era though
I miss them dearly
making your own playlists just isn't the same

essential for any jazz fusion head. crazy the s*** he was doing already in like 1968 in that respect was even beating some people like Miles Davis to jazz fusion (just coming from the rock side instead of the jazz side)
insane live s*** too
See I’m kinda particular about my fusion, I’m slowly understanding it but someone like Miles Davis I haven’t really figured out yet for some reason. S***bdoesnt hit me like how everyone says it hits for them

u heard Zappa's Hot Rats album?
when I did a proto-artist move and spent my school dinner money on CD's instead of food and on the bus back I would read the credits and lyrics and being engrossed by the mystery of what it sounded like >
At that point I was downloading s*** off limewire

It's a normal post, what do you mean.

They made sense when physical media was around because instead of buying an album that had 3-4 songs on it you wanted to hear, you could just buy the greatest hits and get all the songs you wanted as a casual.
It doesn’t work with streaming anymore because you can just take the songs from each respective album without worry about paying for each song or album individually
Beyond Love top 3 for me
