I am but I don’t have headphones
only person with worse beat selection than em is wayne tbh almost every wayne beat after 2008 is complete garbage, those early 2010s were awful
Nas has better beat selection than Wayne or Em but nobody wants to acknowledge this
They both have a genuine respect for each other. I could see this happening in the future. Remember she did the same for Luther back in the day. She doesn't forget those she grew up listening to
copium right here folks
@Hndrxx_Free Time for me to play Jeezy to show you what you're up against
I see a classic

Nas beats are way better than wayne's easily to me i didn't know that was considered unpopular
Delete it. No word.
I’m not going to agree with you about the album itself failing in any way whatsoever so you can dead that. But I’m terms of how he promoted it and what songs he chose to highlight I will agree on that the execution could’ve been better on that front.
This cycle I think he just wanted to be more lowkey and let people have their own interpretations for the work. He didn’t even have any feats least year. While that doesn’t justify not promoting the work like he should’ve, that’s a plausible reason.
Cuz DAMN era he was inescapable. He had 2017 by the balls and last year he just kind of chilled in the back and let the work speak for itself.
All Kendrick had to do was promote three songs for the rest of the year and go back on a hiatus. That's all. All the mysterious s*** is getting out of hand

Kendrick atleast gave us an album cover and song titles unlike someone
Turn your volume low
Bruh it’s loud af in here

overhated album
I realized the main issue with Ems newer music is his voice. Cuz his best selection is better now then it was 2010-2017 and his flows are smoother now then have been in awhile but his voice is just so grating now. He lost the power and charisma in his voice after Recovery.
he needs to layer his vocals again
Ehhhhh idk about Recovery having better beats. I think it just fit for the time it was in with T.I and B.o.B making pop rap people call classic today. Eminem also was in top tier rapping wise on Relapse and Recovery which helped make the songs better. I think if you put modern day Em on those beats, it’d come out a lot worse.
You know what you may be right
I really question his stylistic choices he chooses to do with the beats he’s given I guess.
i can count on 1 finger the people who'd be excited for mariah and beyonce collabs in 2023
I think Kendrick think he's at the point where songs will naturally become hits on their own and that's just not the reality of his current situation
He thinks he’s drake
@AllisonXO wtf is this season of love is blind. Keep on cringing
I really hate how history will be rewritten on TI. He was as big as Wayne and Ye in the mid 2000s, I didn’t imagine that it happened

Go to fotp or atrl and say that

I think it failed in the sense of it not living up to someone who was being talked about as the top dog of rap being gone for 5 years and then dropping that
It’s still a good album, but to be who fans say he is, and who he was before that point
Em can still get pretty close to how he sounded during the 2000s he just chooses not to
