I really hate how history will be rewritten on TI. He was as big as Wayne and Ye in the mid 2000s, I didn’t imagine that it happened
I remember him being popular
Idk about as big
If that was true it wasn't for super long
Go to fotp or atrl and say that
those are bots brother, none of them exist out of their forum space

Its partly his fault how his image has turned nowdays but yeah. Bro dropped 4 classics during the 00s (Trap Muzik, Urban Legend, King and Paper Trail) and he just seems forgotten

T.I. did that to himself when he became a social media personality

Yeah him being in and out of jail plus his music declining deaded his run

It was between 2006 and 2009
His prime was cutted short because he went to jail, and first, he had to "change" his image as a trapper and also had really bad snitch allegations

Is T.I. a top 10 Southern rapper?

Is T.I. a top 10 Southern rapper?
Easily. Whats u think its the top 10?
I think it failed in the sense of it not living up to someone who was being talked about as the top dog of rap being gone for 5 years and then dropping that
It’s still a good album, but to be who fans say he is, and who he was before that point
It was executed the way he intended to deliver it. Which was to make an imperfect album that brought him back down from the stratosphere people put him up in. Subjectively we can sit here all day and disagree about what we like and don’t like but for me it was what I wanted after DAMN. I wanted something more left field. I also think COVID hurt this album because he had it close to finished by March 2020 but he delayed it because of the lockdowns and him not being able to tour. And after seeing his masterpiece of a tour I 100% agree with his decision.

Easily. Whats u think its the top 10?
If I was to make one I'd put him in mine. He's behind Wayne, 3k, Ross, Jeezy, Gucci and Juicy J.
