For me, it's the KEF Q3 Meta speakers with the SVS SB-1000 Pro subwoofer with the Cambridge Audio CXA81 Mk II amp with the Fluance RT-85 record player with the Schiit Mani 2 phono preamp.

Tubes do nicely to soften up harsh recordings, but you can really just tone the treble down and you're usually golden
Some super revealing amp + transducer combos will be damn near unlistenable though
