The Yeezy season clothing lines might be his most underrated contribution to the fashion world

nobody ever talks about the Yeezy season boots, nevertheless the fact he started his own line independently (in like 2015 bro!!!) he was f***ing killing it and it felt like such an onslaught having the Adidas line come to fruition around the same time Yeezy (clothing line) came to be

Its fun to look at these models from season 3 (Pablo msg premiere) and season 9, respectively

You can see how his style became what it is currently if you kinda dissect it, it's cool

Crazy how he just kept losing money on this s***, millions a month apparently it's probably why for a while we only got shows/samples etc etc. I also read that he wanted season 6 to be USA made. Apparently those losses were so big that he just kept looking for a production team behind him ie Balenciaga, Gap, etc

Funnily enough the reason the newest Yeezy clothing (season 10 included) is because he is using cheaper materials, all independently, at SIGNIFICANTLY smaller price points, without having to sell his vision to any fashion house/production team

tldr: Sway was right

He's kinda silly though because he was trying to establish himself as a brand in fashion

And he avoided sways strategy initially because it would have just been thought of as regular artist merch and not a legitimate fashion brand

But now he has done so much damage to his reputation that only loyal fans of his artistry want to buy his clothing anyway for the most part
