wake up babe.... we're listening to ICEMAN on the chilly tube
you put on iceman 30s after that tube turns on
no need for it to heat uo
i like the idea that the sound changes because of the physical elements of the tube and that rangy has all these different tubes with different effects
its sounds neat
I just can't imagine a world where your average person sits down and listens to it and is like
"You know what? Yeah. Sign me up."
Like they probably will notice a difference but then still go back to their wireless earbuds

i really wanna try it now that rangy has been talking about it for awhile im genuinely curious
I feel like there's no way all this stuff makes a thousands of dollars difference
But it's probably worth it just as an interest/niche hobby
real talk diminshing returns and snake oil consumes 60% of the audio hobby
you can get impressive "accurate" audio for like $600 for a full system. No need to buy audiophile wires or any of the hyper expensive stuff
I just like collecting tubes because they all change the sound in their own way
plus it does look really f***ing cool nobody can take that away

Come to ARKANSAS 🦅

vz otw to to arkansas to try your tubes
Like I get physical media being cool and having value
It just doesn't apply for music to me
With comics/books/art I get it
i'd curb stomp all those mfs

That's like killing an endangered animal
We literally don't have the tech to recreate some of these vintage tubes
Have some shame

some vinyls have really cool posters and stuff
my godspeed you black emperor vinyl has like 3 posters with visual diagrams explaining the pace of the music and comes with a canadian penny flattened by a train
