january but they didnt start putting me on-call until 3 months ago. it’s brutal and i keep thinking i’m going to get used to it and it’s just not happening.

i get home from work and im still working. im captive to my phone 24/7. i just sit on the couch waiting, unable to relax. it’s killing me man im screaming in the car out of frustration everyday this week.

i got woke up every hour last night. i keep changing my f***ing ringtone because after awhile i start getting so anxious and pissed off everytime i hear it.

and f*** man even when it ends on monday an entirely new work week starts. i dont have a full day off until next weekend.

like at any moment during this week something crucial could break in columbus and if i cant talk them through fixing it i gotta drive 2 hrs to get there. last on-call week i had to do this at 4 am and i drive back to only then officially start my work day. its killing me man.
