Nortlike at any moment during this week something crucial could break in columbus and if i cant talk them through fixing it i gotta drive 2 hrs to get there. last on-call week i had to do this at 4 am and i drive back to only then officially start my work day. its killing me man.

and everybody there knows it sucks but the other guys can handle it. they can relax when they get home. i havent found the ability to do that yet and i want so desperately to be used to this by now.

other dudes are like “i just have them wait” but very often they’re having issues with their POS/register system that prevents them from clocking out and/or counting down for the day. So id be preventing people from going home after a long day of work if I just wait. Its ASS

3 months is a super short amount of time bro, give yourself some more time to get used to how things work and how to cope with it
