    Where would you move

I liked Massachusetts when I went there

  • Like if we aren't considering cost because Massachusetts is expensive

  • UncMC

Would you support an independence movement lol

no because newfoundland is so poor and the people who run it are so poorly educated that canada is the only reason this place isn’t a third world country lol

canada is really bad. there are people who go to prison for attacking people who break into their homes. its really wrong.

I feel as though if someone is in your home after you have made it clear that you don't want them to be you should be allowed to kill them

just because you have no idea what their motivations are. you could have a familly or anything.

like you cant take any chances.

    Yes

If you've made it clear you don't want them in your space and they insist on being there clearly they are up to no good

And it's too sacred of a boundary to cross

What do you think should change

if somebody breaks into your house you should be able to kill them.

if you are mentally well and dont have a history of domestic abuse, you should be allowed to buy guns for the purpose of self defence (you can buy weapons here but only for hunting, so no pistols or anything, unless you live north with polar bears)

i even think people should allowed to open carry. escpially women.

those would be my changes. 1 and 2 escpially

  • Outside of that it takes police so long to respond

Even if you are responsible and call them an intruder can do a massive amount of damage in the time it takes them to actually get there

You should be allowed to use deadly force to deter them from doing that

The only people that should be against that are the ones breaking into houses and who cares what they want

    yes!

like in canada you are only allowed to “one level of violence they did or would do to you”

so like if somebody punches you while breaking in, youre allowed to idk kick them and beat them up. but you cant like stab them or kill them.

which is stupid because you shoot to kill to neutralize a threat, its dangerous to attack somebody who is a reasonable threat to you (not like idk a stupid bar fight) and not incapacitate them, since theyll be agitated and more likely to hurt you. idk

tbh i dont really undertsand the logic otherwise. but it is what it is idk

its like not like our laws in canada deter anything, we have all the issues usa has, just law abiding people are way more vulnerable. i dont get it

    That's silliness

  • idk how it works

  • Bruuiisees

    That's silliness

    it is legit silliness

  • like theres no way the people who wrote and passed that law have ever been on the receiving end of violence like that. to think that’s reasonable. they just live in a magic fairy land

    Culturally it’s still weird.
The police would be intimidated, which is the point but it won’t end well at all

its kinda like in canada, women are allowed to go topless anywhere men are.

but women dont commonly do it because its culturally still weird.

its like youre allowed to, but people usually dont.

shoutout to the women that do though theyre gigachads
