How did they fall off before 2016
He’s saying artists that came before then that fell off after
Cause you wouldn’t let us talk about artists from before then that still make amazing music
The fact that trap queen was 2015 is fw my head
Streaming era gives an extra 30 minutes to the old 15 of fame
this might be an interesting concept tbh because i wonder if the one hit wonders of the past have been replaced more by artists who are just hot for like two years. we still have one hit wonders like Silento but i wonder if the amount is less than in the past
Radiohead

lowkey dis true
yeah id luv to be in the era of gatekeeping and inaccessibly difficult to make music and have to go to the store and pay $18 for an album i only like one song on and not have instant access to every song ever
its good for consumers to have all this unlimited music i guess but i still dont think its totally a good thing. its crazy how devalued music is, its still a huge part of most peoples lives but they all agree its worth dirt, even compared to other forms of entertainment
saying this as someone who pirates all my music so yeah im a hypocrite
If Kendrick comes out with a 7/10 in 5 years it’s over
Currently:

10/10 song
10/10 album, truly

i value music i love. ive never installed tiktok. but yeah its normal for most people to have a surface level understanding of something. just like me with sports.
digging around the internet for a song, a s***ty mp3 <<<
lol it was very easy to download music. the annoying thing was having to burn cds, or rotate music out of your mp3 player/phone.
but you know what was nice? not having your songs get changed due to sample's not getting cleared. not having artists pull their s*** from streaming. having music when your internet goes out.
streaming era still better convenience wise but there's still some annoying things

That post was just about people falling off
That was not referring to dababy lol

Hush
lil pump, rich the kid, 69, migos, ybn nahmir, lil tecca, sheck wes, fetty wap and soulja boy all come to mind
I dont agree with almost any artists u listed being the same example as Dababy
Lil Pump, 6ix9ine and Fetty yes. But Lil Tecca, Sheck Wes and YBN Nahmir are more one or two hit-wonders than anything
Rich The Kid, Migos and Soulja had a long career, specially Migos
