    definitely the portraits

    the prince and mj portraits are neat

    yeah he got really cool ones of ali, beatles, mick jagger

    but theyre not done a celebratory light (in my opinon) its more like a neutral snapshot of a period of pop culture enshrined into fine art, when at the time it was viewed as largely disposable mass consumerist art. which i mean it also is

    • virtue signaling : this art has a message that I agree with. By sharing that I enjoy this art I would like you to know that I share it's sentiment
    • knowledge signaling : I know about this art and others do not. If you know about this art as well I will think more positively of you based on us knowing similar things that others do not

    This discredits it for me in a way
