Yeah, I don’t like nor understand when rappers just dump projects on fans. Can admire the work ethic but it generally speaks to a lack of polish. Quality over quantity in music ALWAYS for me. This norm of dropping project after project is almost exclusively a hip-hop thing, and I wonder if that dates to mixtape days and people simply trying to eat from their music.
Maybe Fahim gets a pass because he was (is) young — he was trying to get his name out there, and a lotta young dudes see being prolific as inherently praiseworthy. He has his flaws, but Fahim’s dope for his age and can only improve — I’m excited to see where he’ll be in 5-10 years.
Yeah I mean I can't even say one particular project out of those 60-80 tapes he dropped around the same time was flat out garbage as they all seem to have at least a few tracks I f*** with but imagine someone new to Fahim is trying to get into their music and find one or two particular projects that sum his music up...how easy would it be for that person to pin point those lol those of us more familiar with his discography I'm sure have standout projects from him but to the blind eye there isn't anything that pops or stands out...I used to love Charles Hamilton's music but I've damn near given up on keeping up with his music because he drops so much and mostly at random and a lot of it just doesn't sound great...Fahim's more consistent but consistency can grow old too after awhile...feel like Curren$y felt some of that which is why he slowed it down on releases

He’ll be exactly where Charles Hamilton or Max B are...
That DM2 bonus track is too f***in smooth bro
Fr tho, s*** sounds like some old tribe called quest s***

In psychiatric treatment or prison? Harsh!

I feel like Fahim is such an underrated producer, and I really respect his artistic direction. But his flows are just so basic and he seems to have really little rhythm-his songwriting is so boring on his solo stuff. But it's interesting because on projects w him and Mach (Dollar Menu 2 specifically) he's like a totally different rapper. I feel like with Mach he's motivated to up his game.
But I agree he has to slow down and release like one or two quality projects a year.

yeah his production >>>> his bars
I will never slander dude's production or ear for beats whenever he's not producing the s*** himself
Sidebar of all sidebars but as both a Mach fan and casual listener of the Joe Budden Podcast, I wonder if they’re up on Mach? I feel like Mal and Parks have to at least know of him (particularly Parks, what with him being a Droog fan). I know they’re all on a more-than-just-fans basis with Griselda now but l cannot imagine their highly-favored and gracious host not f***ing with something like Goon Grizzle with all of his heart and soul, especially being a Jersey dude.

No doubt they know of him if they’re not already fans. I think a lot of industry dudes are getting hip to Mach now with Droog and Griselda respectively gaining more mainstream traction

When 'Tuez' came out, Parks made Mami Wata his song of the day for the end of the podcast.
They know who Mach is, but won't care til something big happens. I think Parks is the only one really hip.
Clout Dracula is hard but I don't understand a word.
I've always wondered too, rapping in a different language must be the most complex s***. Getting words to rhyme in the native language vs english. How does that work?
I feel like it has to just force you to make different connections, say different types of things. I’m sure speaking multiple languages makes Mach’s brain work the way it does writing-wise.

well Mal definitely knows who they are if he's cool with Griselda like that he probably just doesn't listen to his s*** really
It’s so funny hearing people talk so highly about all these f***in basics in the game when you’re fully immersed and dedicated to the church of mach christ
Fools all of them
I tend to defend Droog but i probly wouldnt listen to him if he wasnt affiliated with Mach tbh, same with Fahim.
Left Lane and Jay Nice the only current Mach affiliates that are that nice with it

If they only knew
What’s sucks tho is that I’m not tryna go around telling people about Mach like I’m tryna keep this dude for the realest of the real for as long as possible. Next thing you know random b****es is askin for zips

I get where you’re coming from but Mach biggs up K Dot more than any other rapper for you to not listen to him lol

Wonder if Kendrick knows about Mach
If Dre knows, he definitely knows
I really wonder how much of this new scene rubs off on kendrick for his next album
Zack Fox just posted a screenshot of him listening to Mittrom on his IG story? Interesting
