Ok this is fire
Julian Schnabel near Van Gogh’s grave
Hoe from Rucker coldplay
The whip was all yellow and tone beige
You a baby nxgga
You don’t know it’s Earl Manigault with the slow drain
Prefer my cantaloupe with the Yoplait
Barry Alan Pincus, Barry Manilow
The camera rolling the poached egg
The yolk ran all over them hoes’ legs
Ew, disgusting
Good is the enemy of great
The slowest ofay was sick of O.J.
And that was over Nicole race
The teeth chattered over the cold drank
The yeast rassled over the whole grain
The wave nah bleach, catch, release, mackerel long as the pole length
You really stuffed up, you need a Flonase
Said you really stuffed up, you need a Flonase
You killed it man good job think this is perfect damn
This is pure gibberish
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Mach-Hommy. The genius is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of Haitian Creole most of the bars will go over a typical listener's head. There's also Mach's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Jacques Roumain literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these raps, to realise that they're not just poetic- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Mach & Fahim truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the poetry in Mach's existential catchphrase "Wap Kon Joj!," which itself is a cryptic reference to Félix Morisseau-Leroy's Haitian epic Plenitudes. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Mach's genius wit unfolds itself on their ears. What fools.. how I pity them 😂
favorite song is Makrel Jaxon
I keep replaying it over and over.
"Thought you was the best on the drums,
meet Ringo"
💥💥💥🔫
Them off kilter pianos on Tunnel Vision ain't have you doing the stank face? That beat is so hard to me
I NEED A PYTHON TRENCH COAT MAN
I guess just Grope Records
now that I’m looking at the tracklist most of these are fire, Heem verse on Cento is mad funny
i love grope records tbh
it’s been a week since pray for haiti dropped. got a few questions since it’s been some time since we digested it.
is it aoty to you (if not whats aoty)?
where does it rank compared to other mach-hommy albums
top 3 tracks on it

• for me it’s easily aoty. there’s been other great albums like navy’s reprise and haram but this s*** is so special my allah.
• i’d say this album is lowkey top 3 mach for me now which is saying a lot cos u could basically pick any 2017 project as his top 3
• top 3 tracks difficult cos it constantly changes but atm it’s the 26th letter > marie > kriminel
By consensus the weakest projects seem to be:
Goon Grizzle
Kill Em All
DM3
MHL
DM3 is definitely not considered one of his weakest
Agreed, I’ll stand by Jacobs Ladder and Suspender Anime til my death. SPF 45 fire too Sous Vide... lotta filler in between all those though
Suspended Anime is one of Mach & Fahim s best songs

Yes, this is my AOTY so far.
I’d say it ranks pretty high. Not only can I not stop listening to this thing, I can’t stop listening to it from front to back.
Top 3 tracks are still “Marie”, “Kriminel” and “Magnum Band”.
But now I have a question for you:
What is “rami” and why have we all been placed on it?
Only thing I can see maybe topping this for me is if Spook and Sadhu. drop N.S.F.W. this year. Song in this video is too crazy:

i thought he was talking bout rami malek for a second but we ain’t known since 2015 cos mach named that old 2015 song e$l (rami)
Yeah I’m really big on production which is why I think I like hommy edition a lot plus the rapping is great.
His rapping is definitely high caliber on hbo
Definitely still gonna give it a few more listens
"Big on production"??? This just doesnt make any sense whatsoever to me. You could be 'big on production' and like a completly different style, so that doesnt really say much and with that being said, the beats on HBO are top tier.

Did anyone get this one ?

I still got Haram AOTY.
Feel like this is close to top tier Mach, although I think HBO and WKJ are still my favorites.
Favorite joints on here are Kriminel, Makrel Jaxon, Marie

I dont like the rapping, sounds too much like some amateur 'soundcloud rapper' to me.
EDIT: Wish Sadhu would team up with someone nicer, I think he's one of the most interesting 'newer' hip hop producers.

That’s kinda Spook’s charm. He’s raw af. I think he complements both Sadhu’s creepy/jarring beats and his more soulful/melodic ones. Plus he has a good sense of humor

I don't mind Spook's voice or delivery, and as far as his lyrics I think he and Sadhu. are perfect for each other.
