MastiffI'm still not sure I agree that adding muscle would help him, if anything an increase in muscle mass would be a detriment to his cardio/endurance? There's trade offs when it comes to adding muscle for explosiveness vs coming in smaller/lighter. Not every fighter needs to be big/explosive - strength training can help guys so I don't disagree that it's something that should be utilised but Nate's case his stand flat-footed and trade style is his problem imo. We've seen him get cooked by guys who show more dynamism when it comes to footwork and striking.
thats true i think hes basically just saying his style of coaching is to focus on the weaknesses to make them more well rounded instead of focusing on their strengths making them more specialized

He’s not moving up in weight.
He’s gotten Jorge, Colby and most likely Leon twice now.
Aside from Chimaev, Luque or a rematch with Gilbert there isn’t much left for him. I think next year is his last yearPersonally, after Leon I think he deserves some sort of big money fight but there just aren’t any for him.
