still learning my mpc one, got unfinished work on that powerful little f***er, A list producer itt!!!
What DAW do you use?
Use ableton and usually throw the glue compressor w a mastering preset and a limiter on the master channel
i use fl and put a soft clipper and a limiter on my master. sometimes I don’t know how far to push against the ceiling (if that makes sense)? also wondering where does your volume usually peak at before putting the your plugins on your master?
I just uploaded a couple of my first beats i would love it if you guys could listen to em and give me some feedback

Not bad, for a tip I’d use mid side EQ on your 808 bass.
Tip i just learned from another user here

Yeah you dont want that much stereo in the bass, its always the punchiest in the middle but putting some extra tone helps too

Hmm the mid side EQ is intermediate stuff. Do you know about Bus sends in your Daw?
If you do then I can help you out

Yeah. So on that track (make sure its in stereo) you put two different EQs on there where one is set to Mid and the other side. You then sweep out all frequencies in each EQ.
Basically what this does is reinforce the bass being in Mono. It keeps its dead center and tight. You can then add effects in a different channel for stereo, while cutting out the low end.
