Stock EQ is fine to begin with.
Best EQ in the game is Pro-Q 3 though. FabFilter plug-ins can be a game changer, but don't feel like you NEED it rn if you haven't fully mastered the EQs you already have.

Stock EQ will go a long way. If you want a free 3rd party plugin I recommend Tokyo Dawn’s SlickEQ. It’s great for boosting, but not surgical cuts

The stock has been working great for me so far, just been watching some different tutorials and sometimes these different EQs end up bringing a complete different texture and quality to vocals when they boost certain frequencies.
