that's the first thing i clicked on
i think you're on to something with this vocally and emotionally
and that other joint shows you have the ear for beats

i'm in a similar position in that i feel like singing is no longer a choice

i've always wanted to but i was afraid for years

but now i'm at the point where i feel like i've gotta fully express myself

or i'm gonna suffocate

been some years since i've put together a project and i can really feel the weight of everything i've been carrying

but when i get this s*** flowing again...

Also from your typing style and what seems to be your outlook on things , you don’t have to answer this but have you tried psychedelics? Your energy reminds me of people I know that microdose

i would say that i have always been a very spiritual person

my upbringing forced me to mask that (dramatic understatement but it's not time to write the book just yet...)

and i would say within the last 2 years
i have been experiencing a spiritual awakening

2019 seeds were planted
2020 i was in the sunken place
2021 tha rose that grew from concrete

and that's kind of where i'm at now
making it to LA was like me finally breaking through
and now i'm adjusting to what i've become

to answer your question though, the only psychedelic experiences i've had thus far have come from cannabis

i do plan to explore shrooms next though

from there, we'll see

i definitely could see myself microdosing
as i wouldn't say that i use cannabis recreationally

i wouldn't even say i get high

for me it feels like going from negative 50 back to 0 or normalcy

if that makes sense

though it makes me feel great
it doesn't make me feel intoxicated at all

I’m gonna recommend delta 8 to you, all the thc without the paranoia that comes with sativas. Shrooms are dope tho.
I relate to what you’re saying though
2014- I got picked up by blogs from making a song from a Ye Keef snippet that wasn’t out yet, kept doing that snippet thing but had no idea how to capitalize other than ad revenue that was illegally demonetized and I can sue for easily and not ruin chances of working with glo gang since the guy who made the claims fell out with them after stealing their jewelers
2016- a coworker that’s a Keef fan played the song Nobody the real one then was like wait i like the other version better, and the nigga played my version thinking it was me, I was speechless literally literally for the rest of the night, that’s when I knew I had something
2017- x****. I remember maybe 10 things
2018- worked on melodies
2019- sunken place, back on x**** only this time random presses with god knows what I’m them, plus likely meth filled ecstasy that I though I could beat the rule of no more than once a month was poppin em every day
Was exposed as bi which I didn’t care that much anyways because I didn’t wanna drop of a heart attack at 35 from holding that in , finally fired from my job for getting head in the shed behind the restaurant and being gaslighted into it being a me too thing. Lowest point

i worked at a CBD shop in 2019
so i'm hip on delta 8

i love it for states that aren't yet medicinal / recreational yet

but i still prefer THC and CBD flower

even with sativas i don't find that i get paranoid

and if i do, i typically just use it as a way to know how "high" i am

i've been meditating since 2016 and a lot of the techniques you learn about calming yourself help a lot in these situations

i would honestly love to guide others on psychedelic experiences

especially first timers

i find that i usually am the person holding it together in social situations

even if i've smoked more than other people
not even because my tolerance is high necessarily
i just feel like my mind has been preparing for this for a while

i've always felt like the bridge between two worlds

and my psychedelic experiences have confirmed it for me
