We normally make Hip Hop music, last year we got Lil B on a song and opened for Lil Flip lol. I’ve started making more synth pop though inspired chunes now though
The video for our first single off AURORA (dropping 7/31) got 1000 plays first week

This is 1 f 3 full blown pop songs on the album, the rest of the album is more of a blend of hip hop and pop. Gonna drop another single in the next few weeks here too

?i've been trying to get better at making singles because most everything i've made up to this point is connected in some way
almost like you have to dive into a project to fully enjoy the songs
whereas on their own, they aren't as strong because the context is missing
gotta keep pushing though nahmean
why do you ask though?

For drums, try not to make everything line up the grid exactly. Add some swing to your drum beats so that it gives it a more human feel.
