She uses computers every day so she’s not computer illiterate but idk how much different Mac is and if she ran into a problem I’d have no idea what to do jajaja

get the macbook air with the m1 chip as i said. base model is all she'll need. nearly 20 hours of battery life

will let her get her iMessages on her laptop and use her airpods on her laptop etc

if you insist on a windows you can find one for $400-600 that will be more than enough for what she needs
