For all the Americans ITT, how’d y’all get into hockey?

Two of my best friends in Vegas growing up loved hockey. One played at the local casino every Saturday. His family was from Buffalo. We played Wayne Gretzky's 3D hockey and Blades of Steel all the time. The other friends family was from Detroit. They loved their Red Wings. Ended up an Aves fan, because one told me to pick one and I liked their colors. Then the next year we won the Cup.

Not gonna lie the lockouts killed my fandom. I loved watching the playoffs during summer and I hated watching baseball. Those lockouts really made me stop following it as much.

VGK is the first home team and we all now root for the same team.

Well they aren't plying like they gave up already. That's a good sign.
