habs look gassed already... going to be a quick series
toronto probably thought the same s*** tbh
i get toronto gets hard wasting their potential but still iâm not counting them out yet
For all the Americans ITT, howâd yâall get into hockey?
i moved in with some dudes from nashville in 2017 that were big preds fans and i had a great time with them getting lit watching them make it to the stanley cup final. been a fan ever since
still donât have a team, ik itâs not nashville though ive been on the border with colorado but idk itâs starting to feel like theyâre moving from âteam with huge upsideâ(see: buffalo bills) to âteam that canât put it together in the postseasonâ(see: milwaukee bucks)

So the Bills in both circumstances?

Itâs amazing what can happen with a strong PP.
So the Bills in both circumstances?
they just won their first playoff game in 25 years, i think they still have a year or two to prove themselves in the playoffs before people start saying the franchise is cursed

Bruh. No one wants the Bills history. The franchise been cursed.

I said one of my best friends family is from Buffalo. They donât know the âmafiaâ like Vegas. Our mayor was Spilotroâs defense attorney.

don't give up. colorado is just going through what both the caps and the lightning went through over the last decade. great regular seasons for years, leading to 1st/2nd round exits over and over. just like the caps/lightning they'll break through eventually.
nhl playoffs can be so wacky sometimes and lucky bounces/calls have a lot to do with it. avs have too much talent, so odds say theyll get those bounces one of these years

lightning did it different than the caps imo. i feel the same about the caps as i do st. louis, seems like they had one shot and capitalized on it, but after that they went back to their usual early round exits. tampa stayed a threat, and probably will continue to be for at least another year or two
if we're being real there's a good chance montréal is one of those "one shot" teams too hope they make it count

caps were literally the best regular season team for the 2010's...
"The Capitals (465-231-0-90) recorded the most wins of any team in the 2010s and only trail the Montreal Canadiens (501-160-130-0) and the Boston Bruins (487-190-111-0) of the 1970s as the winningest franchise of any decade in NHL history."
they won the president's trophy 3 times over the last decade, and have won their division every year but 3 since 2008.
theyre nothing like STL's run and they were the literal opposite of a "one shot team" over the last decade plus
TB did the same thing (great regular seasons the past 5+ years, then finally broke through last year)
Logan is gonna be the backup. I only see us saying goodbye to MAF at this point unfortunately.

i meant what i said mostly in terms of post-season success, iirc ovechkin had never made the third round prior to the cup run, and they havenât gotten out of the first round since. could just be bad luck, but
RIP that is super sad. I was reading an article that was talkin about how it was at their coaches house I was like how is this relevant then I read he died
Super sad
