The regular NSO subscription is 20 bucks a year, which is less than 2 dollars a month. The NSO + Expansion is 50 bucks a year, which is like 4 dollars a month. I'm sorry but I can't be bothered about 4 dollars a month. It's cheaper than a pair of socks. If I can afford to buy and play video games as a hobby then I'm blessed and 4 dollars a month for some more games isn't going to ruin me.

Is Nintendo a perfect company who always does what I want? Heck no, they weird as heck sometimes. Do I want a better service? Yes. Do I want a cheaper service? Of course. But that doesn't mean that the current service isn't worth it to me, or that it's a ripoff to me. Heck, almost ANY product or service is worth 4 dollars a month. Just my point of view though.

im with the guy who said 4 bucks a month for one of the greatest game libraries ever + free dlc for some titles is like a cool and fine deal. Idk if i have a special switch special internet or just special needs, but playing starfox 64 handheld with no discernable input lag was pretty f***ing tight imo

If you have a PC made within the last like 6 years then you already have a better way to play N64 games with infinitely more ways to customize and improve the experience. The only thing the switch has over it is the mobility of the switch. Nintendo fans will cry about EA and Ubisoft ruining gaming with loot boxes and micro transactions but will let Nintendo get away with continuing to over charge them for decades old games and a subpar service. The grip that this company has on people is insane.
