P3P, P4G, FFEE and Octopath traveler 2 in Feb so many good JRPGs and im still not done with Crisis Core

2020 is the switch's best year, by far too. 2022 was still great, but not better than 2020 and 2021, which is why i said switch is slowly declining. Its only natural, a console cant keep selling more and more every year. My confusion stems from them seemingly expecting to sell more in 2023 than in 2022

we don’t have current year sales until after March 30 when the fiscal year is over but yeah it might decline a bit, we’ll see

they were supply strained too last year. plus Zelda is coming soon.

I'm using Mario Karts 8 DLC as my barameter for their content timeline. I said new console is 2024 for sure especially if they're pumping out more og Switch's.

Nintendo said they expected to sell ~18 million units last year. They always lowball their expectations so id say It will end up at 20 million. What they expect for 2023 is more than both those numbers and it just doesnt make sense to me. Maybe they plan another revision like for example a switch lite OLED (a revision has come out every 2 years since switch release) but even then i dont know how much mileage they can get from such a move

They were supply-costrained in 2021 too and they sold 23 million, in 2020 28 million. In 2022 just before holidays they had Pokemon and splatoon 3. I also used the mk8 dlc as barometer for next gen release, but all this is still too weird for me, i wonder if they think the games they have this year and the movie will do enough to move all those switches or if there is something else

I prefer P3P over FES tbh because of the QOL changes. Don’t care much for walking around the overworld, the answer, and changing weapons. Game looks fine enough for me on switch I have no complaints in that regard. But like the beginning game is such a slog. Especially trying to get new personas when the first 2 levels you literally only get the same 3 or 4 during shuffles
