Most Nintendo hardware gets a sequel after 5-6 years. Wii U, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, 3DS, N64DD, etc.

The only console they didn’t really do that with was GameCube and that’s because it wasn’t a huge success

Switch is on track to be their best selling console ever
