If Nintendo drops MP4 during the first few months of switch 2 release with a switch 2 sku that might be the biggest and only chance that series has to become "mainstream" (by that i mean sell 5 million copies). I hope they have the success of metroid in their minds as much as the success of the console itself lol

I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about the PS Portal’s LCD screen. So if we get that quality, I’m not mad at having no OLED

I’ve played only my LCD launch Switch all this time and it’s perfectly fine

Switch 1 had a mid 2010’s LCD screen. Now Switch 2 has a mid 2020s LCD screen

Let’s wait to see how good or not good the screen is before judging

LCDs will never get the same blacks though. OLED is just too nice to go back. Personally it's not a huge deal because I don't use my Switch portably as much as I used to. I didn't buy an OLED with the expectation they'd just continue that with the new console.

What resolution do they mean by 2k, I’ve only seen that used to refer to 1080p

Praying that means 2160p aka 4K but I know its probably not.
