Bozos in the Best Buy sub are saying even if you have a preorder you aren’t guaranteed anything one on launch night. Anyone know that to be true?

I still haven’t gotten a preparing to ship email

I got a "check payment method" email today.

Had to add my debit card to the order. Now I got a pre-auth charge. Hopefully I'll get a preparing for shipment e-mail tonight or by Monday

Man with all these preorder issues from Walmart and now Best Buy, I’m really wishing I would’ve scored another preorder. I had a chance to at GameStop, and I also got an invite from Nintendo. No clue why I didn’t….

seems like an issue with people who didn't use paypal. i used paypal on walmart for the bundle and got charged immediately but i used my apple card for the pro controller and haven't been charged yet

Yeah I read someone saying they used PayPal and were charged and the order was fine. Apparently using PayPal you get charged immediately, other forms of payment dont

Seeing more and more people saying their Best Buy orders got cancelled

If mine gets cancelled I will cry

I went to my local Best Buy to ask about the midnight launch and dude I asked about it was super chill

He said he’s not worried about stock for people that didn’t preorder, if you show up 2-3 hours before, he said I’ll be good. Though he did say the only thing I should worry about is that they didn’t get a crazy amount of accessories. So if I want accessories, come at least 3 hours before (which was my plan)

So I’m hype now

Yeah I would think so too. I’m just starting to get nervous because I keep seeing stories of people’s orders from Best Buy getting cancelled
