Got a Switch game voucher burning a hole in my pocket that expires in October, I can exchange it for one Nintendo game

I've got BOTW/Odyssey/SSBU/SMM2/ACNH already, so my only big blindspots would be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Skyward Sword: HD but I'm not sure what to get, I was considering Pikmin but the demo was pretty stressful and chore-like

I think MK8 is more likely to go on sale eventually, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll like Skyward Sword, Bowser's Fury also looks very very good but I completed SM3DW on the Wii U and don't really intend to go back

Anyone have any recommendations? It's tricky atm

Sounds like you need a new experience, Astral Chain is really good. Especially if you’re into PlatinumGames or a fan of Bayonetta.

why does the pointer motion have to be so poor with the joycons when the gyro in the pro controller or handheld works perfectly.....

I enjoy the motion controls in skyward sword more but the aiming mode is atrocious. then in controller mode the sword swinging or motion controls feel bland.

That’s because nothing beats motion controls than what the Wii/Wii U had with IR sensor bar. Gyro controls just isn’t as accurate.

Nintendo should add a port for that sensor bar to the dock now that I think about it
