Would it be worth it to get a small 250GB M.2 NVMe SSD to put my windows and a few other things on? And have my SATA SSD have everything else?
Windows & modern games aren't bottlenecked by SATA SSDs
things will go faster but only by a few %
next gen games will need NVMe drives but they will probably need faster PCIe 4.0 drives, I'd honestly just wait for the prices to go down on 4.0 drives
I think it will be 6+ months before there is a game that needs one

Thank u <3
this is the 6900xt (80cu Biggest Big Navi) could beat the 3090 in a lot of games, Navi won't touch the 30 series in Ray Tracing though
im hearing the 3080 20gb & 3070 16gb are cancelled in favor of a ti refresh coming weeks after AMD has cards for sale
8GB 3060ti coming first, 6700xt competitor
a 3070ti is close as well

https://twitter.com/kopite7kimi/status/1320702114977304577That 3080 20gb was needed, don’t know how I feel about that
Also when are these AMD cards suppose to be coming out, it’s taking too damn long

they're announcing the date in 2 days and showing official benchmarks
rumors are saying it will be mid November tho

yeah if the 6800xt is right near the 3080 I'd almost feel like the 6800xt is a better card even if it is a few % slower
just cause it uses less power and will have 6gb more of ram and if it's faster than the 3080 then it will definitely be a better buy
not sure what Nvidia is doing here maybe they're planning a 3080ti with 16gb
excited to see how these new Nvidia and AMD cards perform

Apparently so is it 12 GB's of VRAM and not 16 GB's... But we'll see soon or in 2021 if that's true or not.
Also I hope that the upgrades for the current GPU's in 2021 will be worth it and it won't be very hard to get one hopefully!

yeah hopefully by 2021 Samsungs yields get better
I'm hearing most the supply issues are cause of that
and makes sense they're putting out a 3080ti
if the top AMD card beats the 3080 like the rumors are saying they'll want something better
should mean the 3080ti & 3090 will be 1-2% different though lol

Well that upgraded version of the RTX 3090 better be worth it or welp lol... Imma get it anyway and hope that it was worth the wait!

in the last half of 2021 they’re supposed do a whole new lineup anyways now on TSMC 5nm
so the 4090 is coming sooner than everyone thinks now imo lol
next year we also have Intel putting out GPUs on 6nm and AMD doing a new lineup on 5nm, I think Nvidia will react by releasing a new lineup
I think we will see more lower end 30 series + AMD cards and the Ti models coming in the next few months though
Still not sure if we'll see a 3090ti if they're going to do a new lineup would be awesome though if they did one

Really? Welp... Then I gotta wait for it instead!

yeah there have been reports about it for a couple months now
code name Hopper
techradar.com/news/nvidias-reportedly-readying-5nm-graphics-cards-for-2021-in-an-effort-to-crush-amd
I think Hopper & RDNA3 will be 40-60% better than the current top Cards coming out
TSMC 5nm is suppose to be super dense and have incredible performance
