will be interesting to see his benchmarks
what he's saying is what I was saying a few weeks ago about the new standards being slower clock for clock but we will see how it does in real world tests, I'm going to wait at least 2 years to upgrade to ddr5 I think
lots of Alder Lake coverage coming soon, hear some crazy leaked numbers for the perfomance and energy usage lol
Yessir.
2 years? Well I think 1 year for me is more than enough... I don't mind been a somewhat early adopter this time around haha. But yeah I'll wait around the time a RTX 4090 is out and then hopefully be able to get all of the PC parts and other stuff like monitors and what else I'll add to my setup.
Really? Well I hope Intel keeps going in so that when I'll get their next CPU which should be the i9 13900K one with the Z790 motherboard so is it a beast and worth every penny hopefully. I'm very optimistic about what Intel, AMD and Nvidia will give us in mid-late 2022
Oh and check this out...

so what’s a good pre built
don’t trust myself building one
Why not? It's always the right thing to do to build one yourself. But if you do insist so can I try finding some good pre-built PC's.
And for how much btw?

!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxGrcOfAdMUyeah I just don't see a reason to upgrade my CPU, GPU, Moho, RAM next year I'm on a new build tho only thinking about a GPU upgrade in the next few years prob
DDR5 prices are rumored to come down in the next year or two and Zen4 / Raptor Lake will optimze it far better I'm hearing, I think I'll wait for Zen5 to upgrade unless DDR5 and hardware is far cheaper next year
yeah Raptor Lake should be good will be interesting to see how Alder Lake benchmarks once these Reviewers aren't under NDA anymore

Makes sense if you did build your PC recently tbh. And so would it make sense to only upgrade some parts if needed
1-2 years you say? Yeah then so would it hopefully be priced 20-33 % less around mid-late 2022 as that's when I'm thinking about getting some RAM which is from Corsair so far but I might change my mind if I do find one that has more Mhz and from a trusted brand
Oh yeah Raptor Lake is what's the i5, i7 and i9 13900K will be called. And yes I can see the benchmarks for it been more impressive as the leaked benchmarks for the 12900K etc. CPU's do already sound good to me and it sounds like Intel will finally start going in and doing what they're supposed to do which is good for us for sure. Intel has not been themselves for like what... 3-5 years? But now with the i7 and i9 12900K so is are they back with what we're used to from them
Why not? It's always the right thing to do to build one yourself. But if you do insist so can I try finding some good pre-built PC's.

idk man i just don’t trust myself i always mess up when i make something
and $1500-$2000

Well then build one... It would kinda feel like you getting scammed or it not been worth every penny if you don't build it yourself. So build one tbh... I've seen many people new to this and be hella afraid to mess something up but even with it taking them more time than the people who are used to it in the end build their PC and even be proud of it and be happy that they went ahead and did it anyway.
Many of the people who do it are new to it and are afraid or maybe have watched a lot of videos or built a simple PC build and are still nervous about it and do still find a lot of things on the motherboard for example too much/intimidating but do know that it takes time to learn what every part is for, which ones to use or not and how much their motherboard will last in terms of the upgrading of the CPU and GPU for example... Anyway the quick answer to this is just and do it and it's okay if it takes 2, 3, 4 etc. days before you're done with building that custom PC.
So what's next is me helping you building a PC for $2000 or if you know how to do it then so can we both do this and it's okay that you or we do take our sweet time with this as it's about everything in your build been balanced and hopefully so won't it bottleneck anything as long as what we pick makes sense. So today is day 1 and hopefully so will you be happy with how it'll be after you're done with it. But wait... Is it $2000 with or without a PC monitor? Because if it's with one then so is there more things to think about while building this PC... But if not then how much are you willing or well can pay for a PC monitor? $500? $1000? Etc. So just lemme know famo

ngl i was gonna use this 1080 monitor my mom got last year when she had to work from home for the time since i’m gonna be buying most stuff myself and i wanna focus most of my money on the pc build
and this may be stupid but do you really need to spend a lot on a mouse and keyboard or can i just use a normal one
lastly isn’t it hard to get pc parts now? that’s one of the reason i was also wanting a prebuilt because i didn’t want to have to worry about that part

1080p monitor sounds good enough. And no a decent keyboard/mouse will be more than enough. Just let me know how much you can get them for and I'll find a decent mouse/keyboard that is good and not very old at the same time.
Yes... But if you can wait so will you still be able to get your hands on a GPU, CPU etc. in nothing more than a month hopefully. It's a little bit easier to do it now at least compared to late 2020 and early-mid 2021. So we can start doing it today or tomorrow
Makes sense if you did build your PC recently tbh. And so would it make sense to only upgrade some parts if needed

I'm not believing Intel about the nm change until I see it for myself too many delays
they do seem to be keeping up with AMD at least which I'm glad about I hate when there is only one company making high end CPUs I feel like they stagnant and prices go up
I'm hearing it could drop by a lot more, Moore's Law is Dead says he has sources saying DDR5 will drop by 45% in the next year or two which would be like 10% more than DDR4
yeah it will really depend on benchmarks wonder when those Intel NDAs end for DDR4 vs DDR5 numbers super curious
crazy end users are getting the CPUs before most Reviewers bet there are some numbers out there now
I need a laptop for school next semester.
Want to keep it under 1k and be able to do some light gaming on it (already have a gaming PC).
Any suggestions?

Interesting... I hope AMD keeps Intel pressured so us the consumers do get the best CPU's etc. possible.
Hmm 45 % less but still costs 10 % more than DRR4... I guess I can live with that. I don't want to wait more than late 2022 or early 2023 to start building my upcoming desktop PC.
Lucky people tbh lol... I hope that makes Intel consider releasing their CPU's 2-4 weeks earlier or been cautious about when they do ship them or to who they do ship/send them to so these kind of leaks don't happen. But yeah I could see some benchmarks been leaked before Alder Lake is out which should be next week which should be November 4th 2021

yeah hopefully they will Nov 4th is coming fast though exciting bet Reviewers put something out on the 3rd
yeah competition definitely helps, wish AMD had better GPUs rumors look promising but they also need to make enough cards.. I feel like that's one reason Nvidia has gotten so expensive
I mean any GPU sells right now tho anyways so not like it matters

Oh yeah so some benchmarks 1 day before those Intel CPU's are out... Sure why not?
Yeah AMD has still not beat Nvidia when it comes to GPU's but is only a real competitor for Intel. So they need to step up in that area for sure.
Yep lol with there been only a limited amount of them until some time in 2023 at least so will this continue happening with the Super Nvidia GPU's coming soon, the RTX 3090 Ti and of course 40 series GPU's coming in like Q3 or Q4 2022. But still I'm looking forward to seen how a complete custom built desktop PC will perform with when it has the latest version of DDR5, a Z790 motherboard, an i9 13900K Intel CPU, a Nvidia RTX 4090 GPU, the latest and greatest NVME M.2 SSD and other good stuff like a new case, new PSU, RGB fans, AIO fans including one for the GPU too maybe and yeah what else I feel like is indeed

yeah just guessing cause in the past some Intel and Nvidia reviews have been done the day before release
yeah AMD still is about 5% away from Nvidia in none RTX stuff and way behind in RTX/DLSS, the thing though is Vega was like 35%-50% slower than the 2080ti so they're closing the gap in big ways it seems
I remember when Zen came out and it wasn't better than Intel but it was like woah AMD can actually make something that gets close to Intel for the first time in a decade and now they have the fastest gaming CPU in the world for another week lol
that's how I felt about RDNA2 also but they just can't provide enough stock so that's all kinda a moot point.. like if you look at the Steam hardware surveys there are way more people on old AMD cards like the RX580 or any 30 series card than any of these new AMD ones
if they aren't pushing on Nvidia with supply it's kinda irrelevant how much better it is, but hopefully that changes in the next year or two when people are saying supply will get better
it seems like AMD is more focused on Consoles, APUs for System Integrators like Dell/HP and their CPU line.. GPUs always feel like an after thought so I have been trying not to get my hopes up tho
yeah wonder how those next gen parts will benchmark def will be interesting to see when they come out next year

Yeah... I am more interested in how things will be between Intel, Nvidia and AMD in 2022 and beyond tbh as things will get more competitive and the stock of CPU's and GPU's won't be as bad as it is now or in half or most of 2022 so 2023 will be an interesting year indeed
Tbh I won't be surprised if Sony acquires AMD someday especially with them (Sony) taking the whole porting games to PC thing very seriously now. Oh and also maybe acquires Epic Games and maybe Discord. But Sony isn't in a hurry so it's all about PC games now and well seen what makes and doesn't make sense for them. But yeah AMD's profits does mostly come from Sony/Microsoft consoles and CPU sales and a little bit of GPU and servers related stuff. But I want to see them doing good as they're also important as well as Nvidia and Intel of course.
Oh man these upcoming CPU's and other kind of PC parts are looking very sweet. I am just waiting until I can afford them and when it's the right time to finally get them as since DDR5 got released not too long ago so does it make more sense to wait and therefore be more happy with what you do get. It's all good though as patience pays off famo

Yeah def will be exciting to see what GPUs are coming out and how this stuff benchmarks
Intel coming out with GPUs has me excited I think they have a real chance at shaking stuff up hopefully
Yeah it def seems like there getting more into PC gaming but idk if they'd buy AMD I think that would be an expensive price tag, way more than Sony could afford like Sony is worth $143b while AMD is $145b, they are almost exactly the same size
I have heard rumors about Microsoft wanting to buy them.. they def have the cash on hand but who knows for sure I'd rather less Companies get bought though we only have so few companies left
Why would Sony acquire AMD lmao?
Not saying that it for sure will happen... But with how their relationship is developing so am I saying that I won't be shocked if it happens one day... Or Sony might just do their own stuff maybe and not need AMD, Nvidia or Intel tbh
@Lil_Neon_Baebows For sure... I can see us getting a lot of good stuff when the competition between AMD, Intel and Nvidia gets really interesting.
Yeah it seems like the impossible thing is finally happening... So I am glad to see these PlayStation games finally reach their full potential on PC.
Oh wait AMD is more worth than Sony? Alright forget it then lol... Then so will Sony either do their own stuff or just invest in a part of it like they did with Epic Games and Discord... Which is still a good thing tbh.
True lol... But since Intel will soon be making both CPU's and GPU's so don't I mind it happening with one company and that's AMD. Though not by MicroSoft hopefully as then so would I mind them not getting acquired by anybody.

yeah it's nice having Sony games on PC at some point so you can play them on the latest hardware always
yeah AMD has done well these last few years they've come back from being a small company for a while with Intel lagging on their Roadmap, it's made an opening for AMD in CPUs
yeah definitely should be different with 3 major players making GPUs

Yeah... It feels weird though but I do welcome it. I just wonder when it'll be a day and date thing as they might just do it anyway since those games aren't PS4 etc. exclusive anymore so you might as well release them (PS5 etc. games) on PC as well and have cross-play and other cross features like the save data been easily transferred between PS4 - PC and PS5 - PC. But yes oh man these games be running really smooth and do look at the same very crispy on PC
Yeah man I just hope Intel's GPU's will be worth it and if not so are they good enough for me when it comes to CPU's so it's all good if the GPU's stuff doesn't work for Intel tbh
True that... And won't mind another one and I hope it'll be Sony tbh since they're good at the hardware stuff and do have the potential to make good laptop/PC related products besides their games and well I want them to return to the PC market again tbh
Btw...

https://twitter.com/VideoCardz/status/1455115001514102790Even if Intel can make something as good as a 3060ti for a reasonable price like the rumors are saying I think that will be a huge success for Gamers
RX 580s weren't better than the 1070 when they came out but they were cheap and there were plenty of them for a while they did numbers
Obviously me and you won't buy one but I feel like there are a lot of people that wanna spend less that can't find anything right now, a new "budget" GPU now costs $350 lol
Intel is more likely to do something like that also if there trying to fight for GPU market share and they probably won't be able to be faster than AMD or Nvidia for the first few years.. two companies that have made GPUs for decades
Yeah it's a huge plus to have them on the PC but yeah Cross saves would be amazing for replaying games in + mode and stuff like that
Yeah the more Companies working on GPUs the better
nice, wonder if this means we can expect more cards

Yeah I don't expect Intel to be a competitor when it comes to AMD and Nvidia until maybe 5-10 years from now as they need some time even though they're experts when it comes to CPU's. But them not been a random new company making GPU's will make things easier for them as their GPU's should gain a lot of attention and popularity in the next 5-10 years and who knows maybe even beat AMD and so will the real competition be between Nvidia and Intel. But at the same time so do I hope that AMD will also stay competitive and give us good stuff and with that so will everybody win. But I hope if Sony decides to also jump into the PC market so will they make good stuff and people will show them love and appreciation so they'll continue making amazing products that I am sure that everyone will benefit from
True since Sony will probably release all or most of their games on PC the next 5-10 years or something plus hopefully also releasing their current and future PlayStation games on PC so will also the save files been saved between PS4/PS5 and PC be a good thing plus also hopefully in the future also online games having the ability to both PC and PS4/PS5 players been able to play against each other which hopefully makes Sony release a custom PlayStation console or well PC so that people gaming on their systems/hardware can play against PC players without the PC players always having the advantage because of Mouse/Keyboard, FPS and other things that can easily make them win again PlayStation players. But yeah if this is done right so is it only good for the gamers and people into hardware etc.
Oh yes I think this means more choices for those looking for Nvidia GPU's. I want more news about the RTX 3090 Ti though!
Oh and check this out...
