i am actually petrified to put the side panel on
def gonna return the psu when more atx 3.0 psus come out later this year to clean up the case
get a e-ATX for that b**** sheesh
get a e-ATX for that b**** sheesh
believe it or not it's a mid-tower
corsair 5000d
it could fit some eATX boards i think for sure though
Might be yes... I think they'll hopefully have that fixed by early-mid 2023. Also I wonder if that RTX 4090 Ti has really been canceled or it's coming in 2023. I guess we'll see
Exactly... Which is the thing to do if what Nvidia is using is the issue. But it seems like the issue is only the connector/cable used with the RTX 4090 and not the other 40 series Nvidia GPU's. This won't make me not get a Nvidia GPU but I hope the issue gets fixed ASAP though.
Okay look at this famo... I found the solution to it thanks to JayzTwoCents
yeah I saw the igor's lab definitely weird
Nvidia cheaping out on a cable on $1599 product
yeah seems like an easy fix if this is the case

Yeah exactly and I've read that Nvidia is aware of it and is working on solving it ASAP so it seems like it'll be a good idea to either wait until early-mid 2023 to get a RTX 4090 or just buy a new cable/connector that isn't from Nvidia
By the way to correct one of my previous posts... Lol I forgot about the whole "Super" GPU's from Nvidia back in the 20 series GPU's days haha. So it's not RTX 2060 Ti but RTX 2060 Super
think i’m gonna do this for my desk i thought about just buying a new one but this seems like the best option
are these the alex drawers from Ikea? if so, then I have this set up lmao
not angled like an arrow tho, just one straight table that goes across

hahah I have the black drawers, and a brown wooden desk. I like the set up, so much space on my table and in all the drawers.
building the first drawer was a b****, second one was mad easy

yeah i really like having all the room seems like it’d be nice
i think i’m gonna do something like that or similar because i don’t got a ikea close to me
unless they can ship it

I think they do ship, I think you might have to wait until it comes back in stock. it was a hassle needing to check pretty constantly when it would be in stock again lmao. I was fortunate enough to be able to get them in store.
i guess theres a high demand for them or they don't make a lot of them lmao

yeah sure there will be more cables soon, already seen some for preorder a few places

yeah true 20 series was weird with the supers I think that's why they replaced the 2080ti with a 3090 cause they had a huge space between the 2080 & 2080ti
Ryzen 7000 sale still going at Micro Center

I wanna play battlefield but when I rebuilt my pc it was during the graphics card shortage so I have this s***ty little card which probably can’t run it
I don’t even wanna upgrade it tbh I have an itx motherboard and it just a bit short that that and not much taller than my ram and cpu fan I love how compact it all is
Next upgrade would probably be a custom case
@neon do u have a home server setup? Learning how to use my schools Linux computer remotely has kinda blown my mind
@neon do u have a home server setup? Learning how to use my schools Linux computer remotely has kinda blown my mind
you could do one pretty ez and cheap tbh
just get a used office pc from the mid-late 2010s and throw in a cheap used GPU (for media encoding) and some WD blue HDDs
you could even do one with a old laptop as well
im assuming this is interest for a NAS, havent rly played with local homelabs though

yeah I have a few different ones
mostly put together with old desktop parts
use ssh & terminal with linux
i have file & media servers on them

you don't even need a GPU if you can find an Intel 4th Gen or newer
just use the integrated GPU, you can turn on Intel Quicksync to do hardware encoding

Cool I definitely want to do this but I’d probably slowly put something together over time and make it really nice
But I do have an old pc I think I have all the parts only the graphics card broke but I ended up upgrading everything maybe I’ll try this
is this good for a ultrawide ?

it's not too bad but i've seen that specific monitor come down to as low as $299
there will probably be more options on black friday

If you don’t care about the curved display get the IPS variant with the KVM switch
That’s the monitor I’m planning for my upcoming build

Nice I'll keep my eye on this one until there's more out
Word must be... I am glad that Nvidia stopped doing it though and I hope they won't one day go back to it
