HFW? No not yet... I got HZD though but will get HFW later on hopefully.

And well I haven't played anything and will wait until I've got everything I want and my setup is kind of done or well is done to do it as I prefer to do it that way

oh nice graphics are pretty detailed with hfw on ps5 and makes sensr

Eh. TBD. That server is the bulk of my equipment rn. I'm contemplating on moving my personal pc into a 2U to get it out of the room

Been thinking about doing this for ages but server rack cases are priced ridiculously atm

my case is actually great though but it’s so small and i kinda wanna get a new mother board though because they just put a generic lenovo one

  • Dec 8, 2022

    F*** bro.

PC randomly shut off during Deep Rock Galactic. Case power button, mobo lights, and GPU light were still on but I had to switch off the PSU. Now it doesn’t turn on at all

May be a dead PSU Gonna try power cycling it but if it doesn’t work… I’ll try reseating connectors and troubleshooting.

  • Dec 8, 2022

Looks like all my hardware is good, but the PSU is dead. Time to find a new one

If none of the parts are proprietary you can easily move everything to a new case as long as it’s compatible size-wise.

Do you have a link to the prebuilt? Usually if it’s a builder like CyberpowerPC or iBUYPOWER they tend to use consumer parts. If it’s someone like HP or Dell it’s probably not gonna be completely transferable

The motherboard looks proprietary to me, not sure about the cooler, never seen that one before.

Could you take a picture of the PSU?

@neon might know more but you could at least take the GPU and CPU. Lenovo is unfortunately one of those manufacturers known for proprietary hardware

but i think i remember when i bought it i saw something saying the motherboard was proprietary but honestly i didnt really understood what that meant

The GPU and CPU tend to be the highest valued items so you don’t have to spend too much for a new build, at least.

looks like the motherboard could be matx does look standard sized from some googling

cpu fan looks standard also so you should be able to just put it in a new case

the cpu fan/mobo are the two things that aren’t always standard though if something was going to not work it would be those two things

has standard atx power also, hp/dell never use standard parts but lenovo does sometimes

okay now this doesn’t sound too bad i wanted to get a new motherboard either way

and the cpu fan in on it now is pretty decent but could be better

this portal rtx thing is barely holding 4k/60 fps w/ DLSS3 on my 4090

insane we're able to even run this considering it uses RTXDI

yeah looks like you shouldn't even need to get a new mobo but worse case that would solve the issue if the screws don't line up or something
