Realistically, what y'all think the next stimulus package going to look like?
if Trump actually has lost definitely there's no way there will be any. He'll be more focused on ramming through emergency laws in the last few months like repealing Sec 230 instead. Then you get Biden with a majority GOP senate. Nothing will be passed. If Trump actually wins? Maybe another $1200 + 80% to big business bailouts lol
GOP absolutely destroyed democrats in Senate & House vs projections. Virtually all predictions including right wing ones had them getting obliterated. They outperformed both by an insane margin, especially Senste
what happens should republicans flip the house (and a biden victory)? besides not much getting done of course

i don't think it makes a difference if GOP has house or not as long as they have the senate. GOP w/o Trump won't be bold enough to do anything especially stupid, so they'll just be like they were under Obama's later years and prevent any legislature from ever passing or going to the floor.
the Dems will retain house and GOP will retain Senate basically inconsequentially for the next few cycles until either party shifts significantly on policy. dumb pundits will continue to play their useless games on TV because it's just a money grift operation for everyone involved.
GOP is more likely to budge on policy shifts rather than Dems, especially since the GOP just realized "wait a minute we're winning hispanics and record black votes on right populism".
Been observing social media the past few days and I must say that the Leftist/Democratic supporters are coming across as obnoxious and just flat out mean.
Look, I get that people don’t like Trump. I’m not saying that I’m a supporter either.
However, it seems as if every post from Biden supporters is filled with rage and hate and people going out of their way to bash Trump/Republicans.
I don’t see this same energy from Republicans. Yes - I’m aware that there are radical racist Republicans (Proud Boys, etc.), but I see WAY more radical Dems who display this negative behavior.
Why are Dems so mad?
If you tell a Republican that you voted for Biden, the response back is, “Ok.”
If you tell a Democrat that you voted for Trump, the response back is, “Fuck you...you’re racist...you’re canceled...you hate black people...etc.”
The Left has turned into the radical side.

Democrats are too engaged in culture wars that they are only set to lose
There are ~40 billion black Americans. Merica has given countries more than ~40 billion for “support” if that doesn’t tell u we’re behind enemy lines Idk what. Love yourself black America.
Lmk what other threads y'all want pinned

Monster’s presidential accountability thread should be pinned
(“so now that Biden is in office”)
That Biden is in office thread
Ehh he's been in office for over a month does it still need to be stickied?

I think so. OP in that is keeping track of what Biden is doing on a consistent basis which I think is a good precedent
Just voted in my city’s mayoral and city council elections
Both of the people I voted for lost to initial losers in the runoff smh. White people consistently vote more every time lol

That sucks. The mayor in our town has been in office for almost 20 years so I’m thinking my vote against him won’t count for much
Edit: incumbent mayor kept his seat but my city council pick won
Damn, Democrats really handing the country back to the Republicans on a silver platter. Last time I vote for these f***ing goofs.
